Association Vesta active member of the European Citizen Action Service - ECAS

For two years running, Association Vesta is an active member of the European Citizen Action Service - ECAS.
As part of their cooperation, Association Vesta and ECAS are organizing a Conference "Civil dialogue of children's and women's rights in B&H," to be held on June 25th in Sarajevo.

The conference should result in the integral evaluation of the existing scope and quality of civil dialogue for improving the condition of women and children in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in the recommendations for their better efficiency. The conference will be organized as part of the project Civil dialogue for children's and women's rights in B&H, which is financially supported by the European Union and is directed towards the general goal of strengthening the civil society in B&H so that it becomes an effective force for positive changes in the status of women and children resulting from the implementation of the Agreement on Cooperation between the Council of Ministers of B&H and the non-governmental organizations in B&H.

ECAS was formed in 1990 as an international non-governmental organization, independent political parties, commercial interests or EU institutions.

The mission of ECAS is to enable NGOs and individuals to make their voice heard with the EU by providing advice on how to lobby, fundraise, and defend European citizenship rights. ECAS is a network of European associations bringing together members from different areas of activity: civil liberties, culture, development, health and social welfare, as well as general civil society development agencies.
