The progress made in the agricultural and rural development sector in BiH in the past period, and looking into solutions to challenges in the implementation of reforms in the process of EU integration process was analysed at a public session organised by Vesta Association, within the „Citizens for Europe“ Initiative. It took place on 8 June 2012 at the EU building in Sarajevo.

The public session took place on Tuesday 29 May 2012. godine, at the EU building in Sarajevo.

On Thursday 31 May 2012, a presentation and a panel discussion was held in Zvornik municipality , on the theme of European initiatives for development of rural communities. The objective of this event was to contribute to a better understanding of the EU, its policies and programs of rural development, as well as its benefits for candidate countries, potential candidate countries and EU member states.

Final draft of the Code of Ethical Research with children in BiH was finalised and prepared for further adopting procedure. In its essence and form, this important document is completely in line with the guidelines foreseen by the project „Strengthening the role of CSOs in the monitoring of State Strategy for combating of violence against children in BiH 2011-2014/15'', that Vesta Association is implementing with the support of and in close coordination with the BiH Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees.

The Program was managed by the British Council in partnership with Vesta Association from Tuzla
Within the Active Citizens Program, which was implemented in recent months by the British Council in partnership with the Vesta Association from Tuzla, certificates were awarded today in Tuzla to successful attendees of the program. This program is funded by the United Kingdom Government.

VESTA Association from Tuzla presented the research on the status, needs and possibilities for improvement of the position of a rural woman. This research was carried out within the project „Socio-economic strengthening of the position of a rural woman through active participation in the local development plans''. Results of the research are based on the surveys and workshops conducted with 450 women from 17 municipalities and in 37 rural communities in Federation BiH.
